Hello! I'm Debi, a Panamanian-American illustrator and designer living in Barcelona.
I grew up between Miami and Panama and speak both English and Spanish. I moved to Barcelona after winning a full scholarship to study Graphic Design at IED Barcelona and I've been here ever since.
My work is connected to healing my inner child, exploring the complex journey of growing up, mental health and finding one's place in the world. I'm often inspired by girlhood, growing up in the 2000s, Saturday morning cartoons and the works of Hayao Miyazaki.
My style is cuteness with a punch: colorful, expressive, and rooted in memory, vulnerability, and heart.Over the years I've worked across illustration, brand identity, stationery design, packaging, GIFs, and short and long-form content on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
