About Debi
I'm Debi, a Panamanian-American award-winning visual storyteller who brings ideas to life through graphic design, illustration, and video content. I moved to Barcelona after winning a graphic design scholarship to study at IED Barcelona and have since collaborated with brands like Meta, Typeform, and Refinery29.
Through my design work, I focus on creating solutions that help clients communicate effectively and authentically. My approach balances playfulness with purpose to tell meaningful stories.
In my illustration and art practice, my work is connected to healing my inner child, exploring the complex journey of growing up, mental health struggles and finding one's place in the world. I'm often inspired by girlhood, growing up in the 2000s, Saturday morning cartoons and the works of Hayao Miyazaki.
If you’d like to make something together, let’s talk! I’m currently available for new projects.
